Wedding Ring Workshop
The workshop is a wonderful way to spend the day, learning some new skills. For the most part, couples who do the workshop have never done any metal work before! We will schedule the time just for you so there is no set schedule. It is a daylong session, usually on Saturday. It starts at 10:00 and costs $800 for both of you plus the material cost. Materials available range form silver, in the form of platinum silver, to white gold, yellow gold pink gold or platinum. In order to minimize that material cost, I try to meet with you in advance to figure out your sizes and proposed widths of bands. We also go through the various materials that you might want to use. That way I can order just the amount of gold/ platinum/ silver you are thinking of using.
If you have been on the website, you have some idea of how the workshops look. Outside of those photos, I don’t have any customer photos.
I will teach you how to forge and work with metal first in silver. Then work on the material you have selected. It's a great way to create a memory going into your wedding, as well as super informative. You come away with a pretty good working knowledge of metals and a beautiful set of wedding bands!
When the workshop is done, you will leave with the completed rings!
